DESCRIPTION:About the Seminar\nIn the coming 20 to 30 years\, a significant
  demographic shift in the population with a greater proportion of the elde
 rly is expected. Sufficient accessible means of escape provisions should b
 e considered in the building design so that everyone can evacuate in case 
 of emergency. Such provisions should also be adequate to cater for future 
 populations with increasing numbers of people with reduced mobility.\n\nTh
 is technical webinar will introduce the recent research conducted by the s
 peaker as well as the update of international fire safety standards on acc
 essible means of escape.\nSpeaker\nIr SZE is a Chartered Fire Engineer wit
 h over 14 years of experience in the fire safety engineering industry glob
 ally. He has wide range of experience in different countries applying the 
 corresponding fire codes and standards. He is familiar with the fire safet
 y principle and requirements worldwide\, as well as the functional needs o
 r fire safety goals for different types of buildings. His experience enabl
 es him to develop tailored fire safety strategy and formulate robust perfo
 rmance-based fire engineering design.\nOfficial Language\nCantonese supple
 mented with technical terms in English.\nCPD Certificates\nThis seminar is
  recommended for 1.5 CPD hours. Attendance certificate will be issued.\n\n
