SUMMARY:Technical Visit –   Demo Test on a Fire Rated Glass Product
DESCRIPTION:Programme Highlights\nResearch Engineering Development Façade 
 Consultants Limited (RED) was founded in 1996 and was the first laboratory
  in Hong Kong dedicated to independent quality assurance and testing servi
 ces for curtain wall and fire resistance systems as well as fire proofing 
 materials in building construction. For over twenty years\, RED has provid
 ed specialist third-party consulting and testing services to architects\, 
 developers and manufacturers across a wide portfolio. RED are among the fo
 remost consultants in the region for full scale curtain wall and fire resi
 stance testings and it is accredited under HOKLAS as a fire and facade tes
 ting laboratory since 1997.\nIn 2014\, RED was inducted as an associate me
 mber of the European Group of Organizations for Fire Testing\, Inspection 
 and Certification (EGOLF) and is the first fire testing laboratory which i
 s credited as an associate member of EGOLF in the Far East Asia Region. Si
 nce it was established in 1988\, EGOLF has contributed widely to both impr
 oving the level of personal fire safety and minimizing the losses and dama
 ge caused by fire in the environment through the quality service among its
  members. With few national fire groups in Asia concerning the development
  of harmonized test methods or standardizing testing quality\, RED believe
 s that EGOLF provides a platform for laboratories in the region to improve
  their quality of service and to promote research and development in fire 
 testing. In this visit\, RED will present the essentials of fire tests\, w
 ith a demo fire test on a glazed system.\n\nFee\nSuccessful applicants are
  required to prepare an amount of around RMB$100 each if he/ she will part
 icipate the lunch activities with event organizer members.\n\nRegistration
