 f HKIE\, with a focus on the Fire Division’s unique role in safeguarding
  lives and property through fire engineering excellence.\n\nDuring the sem
 inar\, distinguished speakers from the Fire Division will share insights i
 nto the membership requirements\, application procedures\, and professiona
 l competencies expected of candidates. Attendees will gain a deeper unders
 tanding of the assessment process\, practical tips for preparing submissio
 ns\, and the benefits of HKIE membership\, including professional recognit
 ion\, career advancement\, and networking opportunities within the enginee
 ring community.\n\nWhether you are a fresh graduate\, an experienced pract
 itioner\, or simply interested in fire engineering\, this seminar will equ
 ip you with valuable knowledge to plan your professional journey. It is al
 so an excellent opportunity to meet peers and mentors who can support your
  development.\nSpeakers\nIr Prof. Eric Wai Ming LEE is Professor of the De
 partment of Architecture and Civil Engineering at City University of Hong 
 Kong. A Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers and Registered Pr
 ofessional Engineer\, he specializes in fire safety engineering\, smoke mo
 vement\, and evacuation dynamics.\nHe is the deputy chairman of the HKIE F
 ire Division 25/26 section and he is currently the panel member of Fire Di
 scipline of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers He has served on govern
 ment technical committees\, secured major research grants\, and played a l
 eading role in advancing performance based fire safety design in Hong Kong
  and internationally.\n\nFee\nNil\n\nRegistration &amp\; Enquiries\nThe se
