SUMMARY:Overseas Technical Visit to Sydney\, Australia
DESCRIPTION:Programme Highlights\nSydney is the chosen destination for the 
 2024 overseas technical visit. The visit will include tours of fire test l
 aboratories and research centers at universities\, as well as the recent l
 arge-scale building developments that use timber materials. Participants w
 ill also have the chance to explore iconic architectural and art galleries
  that incorporate fire engineering design and solutions. The visit aims to
  enrich participants’ knowledge of state-of-the-art fire engineering tec
 hnology\, fire safety\, and firefighting operations\, as well as provide n
 etworking opportunities with fire professionals in Sydney.\nApproximate Fe
 e\nStarting from HK$ ~22\,000 to 26\,500 (subject to the finalized itinera
 ry)\nShared room ~22\,000\nSingle room ~ 26\,500\n(Return Air tickets\, ac
 commodation\, meals\, and local transportation inclusive)\n\nRegistration 
 &amp\; Enquiries\nFor the visit\, prior registration is required and inter
 ested HKIE members should register below.\nPlease note that all applicants
  shall provide their ENGLISH FULL NAME shown on their passport\, their con
 tact details\, and HKIE membership number. For successful applicants\, mor
 e details will be required for flight and hotel booking. Members are requi
 red to apply for their own visa for traveling to Sydney if needed and ensu
 re their own passport validity is more than 6 months. The organizer reserv
 es the right to reject those applications without the required information
  submitted.\nThe number of participants is limited to 20\, and application
 s will be accepted on a first-come\, first-served basis\, with priority gi
 ven to HKIE Fire Division members. Limited places with sponsorship are all
 ocated to students with a keen interest in fire engineering design and fir
 e safety measures. The deadline for application is 31st January 2024 at no
 on. Successful applicants will be notified by email\, and the method of pa
