DESCRIPTION:\nDownload File\n\nScope and Objectives\nThis webinar series is
  aimed for assisting graduate engineers for better design and for preparat
 ion of qualifying examinations for structural discipline of HKIE and IStru
 ctE with question(s) related to reinforced concrete design. This seminar i
 s intended for graduate structural engineers preparing to sit the examinat
 ions and it will provide guidance and experience for preparing and sitting
  the examinations. The following areas will be covered in the seminar.\n\n
  	l General preparation and examination techniques and tactics\n 	l Critic
 al points and issues in answering questions\n 	l General solutions for sup
 erstructures and sub-structures and\n 	l Review of past questions\n\nThe s
 peaker will share their experience with the audiences in taking and passin
 g the examination . Some key issues in preparation of answers for question
 s in general will be shared with particular focus on steel and concrete st
 ructures.\nSpeaker\nIr Wendy Chow graduated from the University of Hong Ko
 ng with dual degree in 2016 and passed both the examinations for structura
 l discipline in IStructE and HKIE in her first attempt in 2019. She is a s
 tructural engineer in Ove Arup (Hong Kong) Limited and has been involved i
 n design of high rise building and long span concrete and steel and she br
 idges is a part-time lecturer with HKUSPACE. She is a committee member of 
 the Young Members Group of HKISC.\nPlease follow the 2 steps registration
