DESCRIPTION:NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 15th Annual General Meeting of 
 the Fire Division will be held on Tuesday\, 7 June 2022 at 6:30pm at the H
 KIE Headquarters\, 9/F\, Island Beverley\, No 1 Great George Street\, Caus
 eway Bay\, Hong Kong\, for the following purposes: -\n\n 	To receive and c
 onfirm the Minutes of the 14th AGM.\n 	To receive and adopt the Annual Rep
 ort of the Division for Session 2021/2022.\n 	To receive and adopt the Fin
 ancial Statement of the Division for Session 2021/2022.\n 	To elect the Ch
 airman and Ordinary Members of the Division Committee for Session 2022/202
 3.\nIn case of adjournment of the AGM\, members of the Division shall chec
 k on the Institution’s website at www.hkie.org.hk and the Division’s w
 ebsite at http://fe.hkie.org.hk for the revised venue\, time and date of t

 *******\nNominations for Division Chairman and Ordinary Members\n\nDivisio
 n Chairman\nThe outgoing Division Committee has decided to nominate Ir Jef
 frey LEUNG Kwun Hong for election as the Chairman for Session 2022/2023.\n
 \nOrdinary Members - under Clause 7.2(c) of the Division Rules\nThe outgoi
 ng Division Committee has decided to opt for the maximum of 14 Ordinary Me
 mbers\, and four Ordinary Members in the Committee shall retire by end of 
 the Session\, namely Ir Jeffrey LEUNG Kwun Hong\, Ir Prof CHAN Siu Lai\, I
 r TSE Shu Lung and Ir Dr YUEN Sai Wing. Ir Ronald WONG and Ir Ken NG Kin S
 hing have resigned from the Committee.\n\nHence\, there are six vacancies 
 for the Ordinary Members.\n\nThe Division Committee has decided to nominat
 e the following six candidates for the Ordinary Members for a three-year t
 erm: Ir Prof CHAN Siu Lai\, Ir TSE Shu Lung\, Ir Dr YUEN Sai Wing\, Ir Dr 
 Alfred FONG Man\, Ir FOK Siu Pong and Ir Horace LAM Ho Chun.\n\nOrdinary M
 ember - under Clause 7.2(d) of the Division Rules (i.e. Ordinary Members o
 f the Committee who are of 35 years of age or below)\nIr YEUNG Shing Yam s
 hall retire by end of the Session.\n\nFollowing the retirement of the abov
 e Ordinary Member\, there is one vacancy for the Ordinary Member. The Divi
 sion Committee has decided to nominate Ir HUNG Tsz Kwan for the Ordinary M
 ember for a three-year term.\n\nAny two Corporate Members of the Division 
 may nominate in writing any duly qualified persons as Chairman or Ordinary
  Members of the Committee under Clause 7.2(c) and 7.2(d) of the Division R
 ules. Original copy of the nomination form signed by those making the nomi
 nation\, together with the consent in writing of every candidate named the
 rein to accept office\, if elected\, shall be forwarded to the Secretariat
  of the Institution\, for the attention of the Honorary Secretary of Fire 
 Division\, no later than Tuesday\, 24 May 2022. Please mark ‘Fire Divisi
