Programme Highlights
The HKIE Fire Division and IFE (HK Branch) are excited to organize the 2026 Annual Technical Delegation to the vibrant cities of Greater Bay Area from 27 May 2026 (Wed) to 30 May 2026 (Sat). Delegates will have the opportunity to discover recent developments and applications in fire safety across Chinese Mainland.
This technical visit to the Greater Bay Area provides participants with valuable exposure to the region’s rapid development in fire safety, smart city technologies, advanced manufacturing, and innovative construction solutions. Direct engagement with industry experts and leading facilities will broaden participants’ professional perspectives, encourage the adoption of advanced practices, and support future organisational development through enhanced technical knowledge and cross‑boundary collaboration.

Shared room ~HK$2,470 ; Single room ~ $3,240 (subject to the finalized itinerary)
(Accommodation, meals, and transportation covering both Hong Kong and Mainland destinations are included.)
Registration & Enquiries
For the Delegation, prior registration is required and interested HKIE and IFE (HK Branch) members should register below.
Please note that all applicants shall provide their full name in both Chinese and English as shown on their HKID or travel documents (e.g., Passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Permanent Residents), along with their contact details and HKIE and IFE (HK Branch) membership number. For successful applicants, more details will be required for hotel booking. Members must ensure their travel documents are valid for at least 6 months. The organizer reserves the right to reject applications that do not include the required information.
The number of participants is limited to 18, and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to HKIE Fire Division and IFE (HK Branch) members. Limited places with sponsorship are allocated to students with a keen interest in fire engineering design and fire safety measures. The deadline for application is 15th February 2026 at noon. Successful applicants will be notified by email, and the method of payment to HKIE Fire Division and IFE (HK Branch) will be notified accordingly.
